About this event
In this one-day course you'll learn some CNC fundamentals and get to design and build your own project. You will:
• Learn some design steps using Vectric Vcarve
• Create your own design (e.g., for a small sign)
• Learn about tools and toolpaths for a CNC (also on Vectric Vcarve)
• Set up your own toolpaths.
• Learn basic CNC startup procedures.
• Machine your design on a CNC
St Michaels owns two Shop-Bot CNC machines that you will be able to use. This is one of the advantages of volunteering at St Michaels. You will have three able instructors who will guide you during the day.
